Application Interior - Designer

Job
turning spaces into homes

UNFORTUNATELY, THE APPLICATION PHASE IS ALREADY CLOSED.

If you would like to be informed automatically about new job offers, please register here:

First of all: If I should have used the wrong word somewhere (possibly also in the automatic translation), then I really don't mean that I would rather have a male applicant than a female applicant. That is not the case. And I would be very happy to welcome a large number of female applicants in the process!

Architect or designer?

Let me start from the beginning. I enjoy developing living dreams with our colleagues here in Portixol and maybe soon with you. Turning space into something that is livable. Maybe also sometimes impressive. But always practical.

For me, the space, the light, the lines of sight are an inseparable part of the design of an object. Ideally, we make the view an integral part. And frame it in our view of architecture.

I can't understand why architecture is still being planned without interior design. For me, these two halves of a whole belong together from the very beginning. I would - if I were allowed to have a say in it - change these professional fields completely. And on the one hand, I would want to speak of the real estate designer. And on the other hand of the technical developer.

What do we do?

We build apartments and houses that we rent out. Occasionally, we also sell projects, but that is rather the exception in the absolute luxury segment. Our core business is renting.

We also buy existing properties, which we renovate. But always with the claim to offer completely different qualities than the rest of the market. Our properties are always in top locations. And we invest a lot to deliver the special and singular experience of unobtrusive luxury to our clients.

Our office in Portixol in the first line of the sea should be a place for inspiration. You'll work with other designers on projects. And are also involved in the implementation.

Who am I looking for?

I'm looking for a designer who not only agrees with my design point of view. But ideally much earlier than I have realized that exactly this must be the right way. And is able to visualize this with current 2D and 3D - tools before the construction planning. For this you use e.g. SketchUp Pro with plugins for better rendering results. Or you come from the BIM world and feel comfortable with Revit or ArchiCad.

If you only work with 2D tools, I would not be able to fully understand this and would then ask you to explain to me why you think you would achieve your goal better with them.

There's no accounting for taste, but we have to strike a good balance between innovation and individuality and mass compatibility and pragmatism.

Firstly, our properties should not be works of art, but living spaces. In which our customers love to spend time. And their friends don't want to leave.

Secondly, we want well-being to become no longer moving out. Because good and well thought-out solutions are the love at second sight of a property. And they are just as important to us as the obvious in design.

So that we can communicate well, it would be great if you speak very good English. German is not essential for me. But Spanish is important.

But the most important thing for me is your portfolio. To be honest, I don't really care what you studied. And how exactly your title is. Convince me with your works. Let me understand how thoughts become dreams of living!
