Holiday rental with us!

Completely on your own behalf. But also because many people asked me. We have started Holiday Rental again. As of June 24th Let's start again with Casa Luz, our Casa Molinar Townhouses on Calle Segura. Casa Mar next door will follow in mid-July.

Both houses have almost 100m2 of living space and have private small terraces. A gate leads to a large communal terrace with a pool, which is shared by the three terraced houses.

Casa Luz has already been bookable for a day. At Casa Mar we will open booking availability in early July. Below you will find the booking calendar for Casa Luz, which fills up incredibly quickly. In order not to jeopardize quality, we are currently proceeding cautiously when opening bookable periods.

A bit more about the background, also because many people ask me whether this or that apartment could be rented for two weeks in November. As a rule, this doesn't work. There have been very strict rules on tourist rentals in Mallorca since the new version of the law. Every holiday property needs a license and is also checked. Violations are subject to heavy penalties.

In Spain there is the normal long-term rental, which is our main business. And a seasonal rental, which cannot be touristy. If the rental period is more than 30 days, we could rent out any property. The only problem is that the price for a one-month rental in the summer would of course be higher than the price for a one-year rental.

Why? Because the effort for us is significantly higher with several rentals per year and it is also more likely that we would not have vacancies during the year.

Therefore, in practice it usually makes sense to either use tourist rental, i.e. holiday rental, or to rent a property with a “normal” rental agreement with a term of usually one year.
