My Christmas greeting 2022
2022 was a great year for us. It was very busy and, above all, for me it was marked by the growing realization that you have to be able to do everything in a small company.
It was a special year for the team, too. We had our ups and downs and changes, but I think we're now in a really good mode, where I can see and am really pleased that the cohesion among our colleagues is really great. And the sense of responsibility towards the company and its customers has developed fantastically. At this point, a big thank you to you, you rock!
I've also had to think about where we actually want to go. We have about 20 projects in the pipeline. We actually have the manpower to manage 4 ... That begs the question: Upgrade? Or stay smaller? I haven't quite answered that for myself yet. But I have learned that it is incredibly important that the team functions well within itself. And we will simply make further growth dependent on the fact that we all feel comfortable with new team members.
We have completed the 8 Molinar Townhouses in 2022. The plan was for our happy tenants to move in on 1.7. and they moved in on 1.07. I think we were all a little bit proud of that. From a technical point of view, there were relatively few major improvements. We had difficulties with the microcement, but the supplier promised to redo the bathrooms. Otherwise, I was really satisfied with the quality of the executing company Islabau!
In July, we also relaunched Holiday Rental under our portixolholidays.com brand. And that started bombastic. Our terraced houses in Calle Segura were rented out very quickly. And to my amazement, the largest group of customers were US-Americans.
We have since welcomed many great new guests and have started several projects together with Islabau to offer in 2023 two houses in Portixol in the first sea line and in Molinar a huge house with large garden and pool ...
Mireia has been helping me in the Holiday Rental area for about half a year and has become a real fixture there, many thanks at this point!

We are also building the two penthouses in Cala Mayor since last year and are there about 50% construction progress. An architect had taken over the planning for me here. Short version: We do it ourselves again ...
So far, the project in the first sea line is going well: la13. There is a beautiful apartment, great designed by my colleague Elena! Our big project with 4 villas in Son Vida is going very well so far. Jaime Salva plans and projects this for us. So far extremely professional. I will report on the further development!
Our townhouse in first sea line elMar has finally received the building permit after 4 years. So we can now start with the construction. The architect here is Magi Marques, with whom I have already built the Molinar Townhouses very satisfied and look forward to further cooperation!
Since I realize that I have perhaps "saddled" myself with a bit much, I have decided to create the new position of "super assistant". By which I actually mean that I would like to get myself a "right hand man". I made a very personal job advertisement for this and was really happy to get a lot of positive feedback for it. And great applications!
Last but not least, what didn't work out well? We actually wanted to "do good. For this purpose, I founded the Fundació Predator at the end of last year. The objective is to extend help. What we mean is: We want to give a helping hand to organizations or people who are already successfully helping others. But where there is a lack of resources to make more of it. Quasi a somewhat entrepreneurial kind of charity. My only problem is that I can't find any projects in Mallorca. If you have ideas, write me. Or write me your ideas in the comments.
When the Ukraine war started, the colleagues of NBB.COM asked their community where they should help. There was a budget of - I think - 250,000 euros and they were supposed to distribute it as sensibly and helpfully as possible. This worked extremely well at that time. Maybe you can help me to help in Mallorca?
