It is rare to buy a newly built house in Portixol, as most of the houses in this area are, in my opinion, too small for a family or buyers with more upmarket desires.
So it was a huge stroke of luck for us when we were able to buy a second house in addition to the front house. Then we demolished both houses and are now completely rebuilding them in an "L" shape as one big house.
The whole process has been dragging on for 5 years now. So it will take 7 years until it is completed. This is just to illustrate how difficult and time-consuming such a project really is. So you can imagine why such projects rarely come to the market!
About the location, for those who don't know it, a few words: Portixol is a small district of Palma, right by the sea. Not 10 minutes to the airport, not 10 minutes to the old town of Palma. The sea right in front of your nose. And unlike most areas on the first sea line, also with a beach, not rocky cliffs. And with infrastructure within walking distance. The supermarket, for example. Huge choice of gastronomy, daily supplies in direct access, a really perfect location!
