Coastal Festival in Portixol: Art, Crafts and Flavour United

Night-time walks along the sea to escape the heat get an extra incentive this weekend in Portixol: dozens of street stalls along the beach of s’Areneta offer handicrafts, painting, fashion, accessories, jewellery, as well as gastronomic products for an open-air dinner. The second edition of the Fira Molinera Marinera has just been launched and promises exciting experiences.

An evening of cultural delight awaits everyone who gathers today at the beautiful Portixol Bay. From the magical hour of 20.00, the shores of this bay will glow, while an impressive performance of traditional Bulgarian dances will lift the hearts of those present in time with the rhythmic pulse of the music.

The picturesque seafront promenade of Es Molinar invites you to stroll along at ease and immerse yourself in the variety of artfully crafted handicrafts. From today, this enjoyable pursuit is once again possible as part of the annual “Fira Molinera Marinera”. This enchanting event brings together the residents and guests of this coastal town once a year. The festival harmoniously combines artistic creations and culinary delights while also paying due tribute to aspects of fishing and seafaring.

The Fira Molinera Marinera manages to bring together art, music and gastronomy in a charming way along the sea in Portixol. The mix of handmade products, culinary pleasures and cultural entertainment delights residents and visitors alike and also promises a varied and appealing programme for the years to come.

A special highlight awaits visitors this weekend on the promenade along the front line. A paella stand as well as grilled meat has been set up here, where you can enjoy a pleasant meal just a few metres from the sea in a relaxed and charmingly inviting setting.
