Puerto Portals: See or be seen?
Everything here revolves around being seen. The marina is a hotspot for people who like to put themselves on display. You won’t find any bargains here—only expensive boutiques and chic restaurants. Watching is a main attraction, and the beach offers relaxed moments between luxurious residential areas and trendy restaurants. When it comes to property, prices are exorbitant.
For 35 years, the marina of Puerto Portals has stood for luxury, security, and Mediterranean charm. With 670 berths for yachts from 8 to 60 metres, the harbour offers an exclusive shopping area with top-class restaurants and shops, as well as a diverse culinary selection. Originally built in 1932, the marina was officially opened in 1986 after the concession was awarded to the German entrepreneur family Graf.
Similar to Puerto Banus in Marbella, Puerto Portals is a popular meeting place to see and be seen, and to watch what’s going on. Watching and being watched is one of the harbour’s main attractions.

Shopping
The harbour is ideal for ‘luxury shopping’. You won’t find any bargains here, but rather renowned designer boutiques, exclusive jewellery and fashion stores, as well as specialised services for boats and yachts. In addition, there are also renowned real estate agents on site who can assist you with buying or selling luxury properties. You can access the complete offering here .

Beach
If you simply want to take a relaxed stroll along the harbour without spending much, you can do so. Just a five-minute walk from the end of the harbour you’ll find the exclusive beach Cala de l’Oratori or Cala Portals Nous. This medium-sized sandy beach lies between Cala Portals Nous and Punta de na Dina.
The beach offers a pleasant atmosphere for families, dark sand, and a beautiful view of the island “Illa d’en Sales”. It is surrounded by luxurious residential areas, pine trees, and trendy restaurants. In addition to all this, the beach also offers various services such as a beach bar, toilets and showers, a lifeguard service, and access options for people with disabilities. There is also a designated area reserved for volleyball games.

Living
Puerto Portals is not only the name of the harbour, but also one of Mallorca’s most exclusive and popular areas. The harbour area consists mainly of luxury apartments, while the houses are located closer to the neighbouring village of Portals Nous. This idyllic community is international in character and embodies the Mediterranean lifestyle in all its diversity. Property prices depend on how close they are to the coast. A small flat with sea views usually costs no less than 650,000 euros, while the price of a penthouse goes up to 3 million euros. For properties in the quieter side streets of the harbour, you can expect prices between 400,000 and 500,000 euros.
Just a few minutes from the harbour lies the charming village of Portals Nous, which offers a wealth of shopping opportunities. Here you’ll find a wide variety of shops as well as a large supermarket. In addition to hair salons and beauty salons, there is also a second-hand bookshop, cosy cafés, and first-class restaurants. Real estate offices and appealing gift shops round out the diverse offering. Unlike the marina, you don’t need an upscale budget for a shopping stroll in the village of Portals Nous.
Furthermore, a short distance from the harbour is the tourist complex Illetes, which is ideal for a relaxed day trip. Also nearby is the renowned Bendinat golf course, which attracts golf lovers from all over the world. And if you’re looking for a bit more hustle and bustle, you can reach Palma de Mallorca, the island’s capital, in just 10 minutes by car.
Puerto Portals and its surroundings therefore offer a unique combination of luxury, cultural diversity, and attractive leisure opportunities. Whether you want to enjoy the Mediterranean flair at the harbour, shop in the charming village, or explore the nearby attractions—everyone will find their very own personal retreat here on the enchanting island of Mallorca.
