Son Vida

Son Vida sits on the wooded hills west of Palma and has been regarded for decades as the classic villa area of the island’s capital. The residential neighbourhood is loosely developed, heavily green, and clearly separated from the dense urban fabric, even though the centre is only a short drive away.

The access roads and a private security service give Son Vida a controlled, discreet character. At the same time, streets and plots differ significantly in terms of sun exposure, wind, privacy, and traffic. Some locations are open and with far-reaching views; others are more sheltered and more strongly surrounded by mature trees.

In addition to views and architecture, comfortable access, level garden areas, orientation, and the quality of the outdoor spaces are decisive. Son Vida is particularly suited to spacious, quiet living close to Palma – less so for a lifestyle that is meant to be organised entirely on foot.
