The authentic Great Seafood Party, Maris Galicia, has settled in Palma to delight lovers of seafood. The doors have already been open for a few days and will be open to you until October 1. In Son Fusteret, an impressive scenery awaits you with a gigantic dining area of 1,500 square meters that can accommodate more than 1,000 people. Inside the huge tent you will find various stalls where fresh dishes are prepared. Numerous tables and chairs are of course also available. In addition, a stage provides atmosphere with the performance of the great spectacle of the "Conxuro de la Queimada". The numbers are also impressive: 40 tons of seafood, 15,000 bottles of Albariño and more than 25,000 visitors.

Long-lived lobsters, percebes the size of a thumb, tender cigalitas that melt in your mouth, the best octopus of the Atlantic or juicy claws of crabs that, with skilled hands and a little skill, will delight the audience. All this is served with the delicious wines of Galicia at very affordable prices so that no one stays at home.

A secret of the success of Maris Galicia is that all seafood is delivered daily in pool trucks, without intermediaries, which guarantees quality and very competitive prices. Since its launch in 2009, this event has delighted the main capitals of the country: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Vitoria, Seville, Pamplona, Bilbao, Tarragona, Gijón, Santander, San Sebastián, Albacete...

After the visit, you can explore the facilities and take a look at the delicious food prepared right before your eyes. In total, there are six large stands at your disposal, including a bakery where empanadas, cakes and the classic Galician bread are baked. There is also a rice stand where experienced cooks prepare traditional recipes with love. In the pulpería you can enjoy grilled and cooked food, and even choose which piece you want to eat by looking directly into the basin. There is also a bar with a selection of wines and liquors, as well as a memory corner.

From the outside, an exhibition of 40 large-scale photographs impresses, presenting the rich heritage of Galicia in terms of tourism, culture and products. As soon as you enter the tent, you are immersed in a unique maritime atmosphere, accompanied by decorative elements such as fishing nets, lifebuoys and buoys. Here, the atmosphere is perfected by music and the fascinating "Conxuros de Meigas". This culinary experience is accompanied by live music that includes Galician bagpipes and traditional dances.

The opening hours of MarisGalicia are Tuesdays to Saturdays from 13:00 to 16:30 and from 20:00 to 23:00. On Sundays you can drop by from 13:00 to 16:30. This edition also introduced an ordering system via the website www.marisgalicia.es, which allows you to order and pick up food in advance.
